How to Show Outlook, iCloud and Exchange Events in an Android Widget

A calendar widget can only show events that your phone already has. So sync the Outlook, Exchange, or iCloud calendar to the phone first, then pick that calendar in the widget.
Super Agenda works this way. It shows the events of the calendars on the phone, and it has no calendar sync of its own. The hard part is the sync, and the steps depend on the account. Steps checked on 2026-10-23.
Outlook.com and Microsoft 365
For these accounts, the Outlook app for Android can copy your calendars to the phone's calendar storage. Microsoft supports this for Microsoft 365, Outlook.com, and on-premises mailboxes that use hybrid modern authentication.
Install Outlook. Get Outlook for Android and sign in with your account.
Open the account settings. Tap the gear icon for the account.
Open Calendar. Tap Calendar in the account settings.
Turn on sync. Switch on Sync calendars.
Check your widget. Open Super Agenda and turn on the new calendar in the calendar choice.
Microsoft says new events and edits then sync both ways. If you turn the switch off, the synced events leave the phone's calendar. Menu names can change when the app updates, so look for the same wording.
Your calendar, on your home screen. Super Agenda is a free, very customizable agenda widget for Android. No account, no ads.

Work or school Exchange accounts
Google's Android help lists Exchange as an account type you can add in your phone settings. Your employer must allow it. Ask your IT team if the account does not add.
Open Settings. Go to Passwords & accounts. Google lists other names for this screen: Users & accounts, Passwords, passkeys & autofill, and Manage accounts.
Add an account. Choose the option to add a new account.
Pick Exchange. Follow the on-screen steps. You may need to enter your PIN, pattern, or password.
Allow calendar sync. Make sure calendar sync is on for the account. Where this switch sits depends on your phone and the account app.
Check your widget. Open Super Agenda and turn on the calendar.
Google says some of these steps only work on Android 14 and up, so older phones can look different. If your IT team uses the Outlook app instead, use the Outlook steps above.
iCloud calendars
iCloud is the hardest case. We found no official step that adds iCloud calendars in Android settings. There are two routes, and neither is as simple as the Outlook route.
Route 1: a CalDAV sync app. iCloud calendars use an Apple Account. Apple says third-party apps often ask for an app-specific password, not your main password. Your Apple Account must have two-factor authentication on to make one.
Make a password. Sign in at account.apple.com. Under Sign-In and Security, select App-Specific Passwords, then Generate an app-specific password.
Use a CalDAV app. Install a CalDAV sync app from Google Play. Check the app's own help for the iCloud server details.
Sign in. Enter your Apple Account and the app-specific password.
Turn on the calendar. Let the app write the calendar to the phone. Then choose it in the widget.
Apple notes that changing your main Apple Account password revokes all app-specific passwords. If iCloud sync stops, make a new one.
Route 2: a public calendar link. On iCloud.com you can turn on Public Calendar for one calendar and copy its link. Anyone with the link can view it, so use this only for a calendar you are fine to share. We could not confirm from Apple's or Google's help pages that Google Calendar accepts this link. Google's page says you cannot subscribe to calendars that are not from Google. Treat this route as a test, not a promise.
Which route fits
Outlook.com, Microsoft 365 — Route: Outlook app, Sync calendars. Two-way edits: Yes, per Microsoft.
Work or school Exchange — Route: Add an Exchange account in phone settings, or the Outlook app. Two-way edits: Depends on your employer.
iCloud — Route: CalDAV sync app with an app-specific password. Two-way edits: Depends on the app.
IMAP or POP email — Route: Calendar sync is not supported. Two-way edits: No.
Microsoft's help says IMAP and POP accounts do not support calendar sync. If you use one of those for email, the calendar will not sync through that account.
After the sync works
Open Super Agenda and choose which calendars show. You can pick calendars for each widget, so work and personal events can live in different widgets. Read how to show multiple calendars in one Android widget for the steps. If events look old, read what to do when a calendar widget is not updating.
The widget refreshes itself when the calendar changes and at midnight. The app reads the calendar on the phone only to show the events. It does not send calendar data to a server.
Super Agenda has limits. It has no month grid and no tasks. Styling needs Super Agenda Pro, a one-time in-app purchase. The calendar choice and time settings are free.
Put every calendar in one list. Sync your accounts to the phone, then pick them in Super Agenda.

FAQ
Does Super Agenda sync with Outlook directly?
No. It has no calendar sync of its own. It shows calendars that your phone already has, so sync the account to the phone first.
Why do my Outlook events not show?
First check that the account supports calendar sync. IMAP and POP accounts do not. Then check that Sync calendars is on in the Outlook app, and that the calendar is on in the widget.
Can I edit events from the widget?
A tap on an event opens it in your calendar app, where you can edit it. Whether your edits sync back depends on the account route.
Which password do I use for iCloud?
Use an app-specific password, not your main Apple Account password. Apple says you can revoke it at any time, and the app that uses it then signs out.
